The meaning of “Yma o Hyd”

The stirring message “Yma o Hyd” comes from a song of the same name written by Dafydd Iwan which tells of the unwavering resilience and determination of Wales and Welsh culture.  Since it’s release in 1983 it has become a cherished unofficial anthem for the country of Wales as well as a rousing song for a number of football and rugby teams including Wales, Llanelli Scarlets, Wrexham AFC and Cardiff City.

We make all of our items by hand and with love ourselves in our workshops in Snowdonia, and we make many items to order.  This means that we can give your fab metalwork the individual attention it deserves, plus it means that we are as sustainable as possible because we never make excess items that don’t get sold.

We aim to send most items out within 5 working days on our trusted next day carrier service.  If your item is personalised, painted or powder coated it may take a few days longer  – but it’s worth waiting for!
