COR-TEN® Weathering Steel Business Sign for Poblado Coffi
Important considerations included the hand drawn style of the brand, the look and feel of the coffees and their packaging, and the industrial heritage of their natural slate block building and it’s place in UNESCO’s World Heritage Site Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales. The Poblado team were also keen to find a sign maker who understood their systemic approach to ethics and environmental protection, so our founding values of ethical and environmental sustainability were the perfect match for them.
We chose to make this premises sign from genuine COR-TEN® weathering steel. This vibrant warm orange-brown metal gave us the opportunity not only to pick up on the natural look and feel of their packaging, offer them a maintenance free sign that would last for many decades, and be fully recyclable at the end of its life, but also be in sympathy with the wider surroundings of the world famous slate industry heritage of Gwynedd.
