Laser-Etched Stainless Steel Garden Sign And Posts for Penrith Rotary Club
Important considerations included small size, low height, length of the inscription, longevity, and appearance to be in keeping with the timeless woodland garden setting. They were also keen to find a sign maker who could create a bespoke sign and mounting posts from the description they gave by phone, so our “idea-to-item” custom metalwork service was the perfect match for them.
We based our design on a verbal description of a commemorative inscription on a knee high, A3 sign. and recommended laser-etched satin brushed stainless steel for the sign plate. Using this technique on the finely brushed silver metal enabled us not only to accommodate the inscription neatly, offer a maintenance free sign that would last for many decades, and be fully recyclable at the end of its life, but also gently reflect the ever-changing colours of the garden in the sign itself. We also created matching stainless steel posts with solid stainless steel end caps and points that bolted to the sign using hidden studs.
